We want all our shareholders, employees and partners to adopt our ethic principles and code of conduct. We reject any business relationship with people or companies that do not meet these requirements.

Occupational Safety Policy

EMILIANA CONSERVE S.p.A. believes that occupational safety must be a pivotal aspect of the company management. For this reason, the company complies with the OHSAS 18001:2007 standard.

The occupational safety policy is based on the following fundamental principles:

  • Ensure the compliance with the existing legislation
  • Aim to constant improvement
  • Focus on prevention
  • Guarantee and improve workers safety
  • Monitor and control working activities for what concerns occupational safety and health

In order to act in line with those principles, EMILIANA CONSERVE is committed to:

  • Consider occupational health and safety as an inherent part of the company management
  • Plan the working activities in order to prevent potential damaging events, reduce the risk of injuries and avoid the development of work-related illnesses.
  • Provide the necessary human and instrumental resources for occupational health and safety management
  • Train the employees and raise their awareness so that they can work safely and act responsibly regarding occupational safety matters
  • Provide information and training to the working staff in order to make them work safely
  • Raise awareness inside the company concerning the occupational safety issues
  • Involve and consult the workers concerning the occupational safety issues
  • Re-examine and re-evaluate the occupational safety policy on a regular basis
  • Define and communicate the occupational safety objectives and how the goals will be reached

In order to confirm the achieved results and improve on their basis, the company requires the full cooperation of all its employees. Workers health and safety must be guaranteed through everyone’s dedication and it must be considered as a moral requirement.

The company management re-examines and re-defines programs and objectives of the occupational safety policy. The management is dedicated to constantly update the objectives on the basis of the achieved performances and of the principle of constant performances improvement.
